At Corvus Cantus, we believe the sacred lives in story, song, and silence. The Raven’s voice calls us toward the threshold—between the seen and the unseen, the said and the unsayable. We honor this liminal space as a birthplace of Theopoetics: a living language breathing myth, spirit, and embodied truth. Every work we publish is a song across the edge of the known, an invitation to listen deeply, imagine boldly, and be transformed.

The Inner Child Series is a mystical and emotionally layered collection of children’s books published by Corvus Cantus. Through imaginative storytelling, poetic symbolism, and gentle spiritual themes, each book invites children—and the adults reading beside them—into deeper conversations about emotion, identity, courage, wonder, healing, and becoming. Rooted in the spirit of Theopoetics, the series explores the sacredness hidden within everyday experiences: jumping rope, listening to intuition, feeling different, dreaming beneath the moon, or learning how to love oneself in a world that often misunderstands softness and imagination.

In Truth in Smoke: A Collection of Theopoems, the sacred rises in unexpected places—through the ash of grief, the glow of sunrise, the salt of tears, the laughter that survives despair. This is a journey into the language of Theopoetics, where God is not confined to walls or creeds but moves like breath, like wind, like smoke through the world. Each Theopoem is a kindling, an ember, a flicker of wonder, inviting you to linger in the mystery and to see divinity in the cracks and corners of everyday life. Inspired by the Theopoetic project of the Truth in Smoke podcast, this debut collection carries the same heartbeat: to speak of God in ways that honor both the beauty and the fragility of existence, weaving together the sacred and the ordinary into a tapestry of hope, presence, and transformation.

This is not a map.It is not a set of locked gates or neatly numbered doctrines. It is a song, a living ritual, a trembling candle in the wind.
If you have ever felt God in a sunrise, heard God in your favorite song,or tasted God in a peanut butter jelly sandwich —then you have already touched the edges of Theopoetics.
Theopoetics is not a solution. It is a way of breathing. And this is a way we speak & embody it.

An Ocean of God: A Theopoetic Reimagining of God, Theopoetically dives into the abyss and introspective odyssey towards the Divine – a multi-faith hermeneutical Journey towards oneself leading to the realization of God, often referred to in Jungian Psychology as the “Self.” Uniquely, this Meta-Spiritual inward journey embraces a multi-faith perspective, transcending the boundaries of colonized rigid religious dogma to embrace a Process: the Rainbow Matrix that underlies a plethora of diverse spiritual traditions and perspectives. We will explore how God through Meta-Spirituality is Theopoetically an ever-expansive Ocean, a Theopoetic metaphor that encapsulates a multi-faith foundational thought with the boundless and indescribable nature of the Divine. An Ocean of God Theopoetically mirrors the vastness, depthiness, and unity that transcends individual religious/spiritual Journeys.

An Old Smelly Box is a bold Theopoetic exploration of faith, doubt, memory, and meaning in a Meta-Modern age. Through rhythmic reflection, dialogical echoes, and intentional repetition, Aaron and Rafael invite readers to examine the “boxes” handed to them by religion, culture, and history—not to destroy them, but to open them with courage.

Neo-Shaman: A Theopoetics of Black Trans-humanism explores the edges of spirit, flesh, and technology, inviting readers to navigate a world where the human is never fixed. Traversing the intersections of Theopoetics, Neo-Shamanism, and Black Trans-humanism, this book offers a radical reimagining of liberation: one where God is Black, queer, and trans; where the body and soul are inseparable; and where the digital and cosmic landscapes become sacred terrain. Part manifesto, part ritual guide, part philosophical meditation, Neo-Shaman is a call to practice transformation—cultivating ecstasy, imagination, and ancestral wisdom in the midst of an oppressive, ever-shifting world.
