The Inner Child Series

The Inner Child Series

The Inner Child Series is a mystical and emotionally layered collection of children’s books published by Corvus Cantus. Through imaginative storytelling, poetic symbolism, and gentle spiritual themes, each book invites children—and the adults reading beside them—into deeper conversations about emotion, identity, courage, wonder, healing, and becoming. Rooted in the spirit of Theopoetics, the series explores the sacredness hidden within everyday experiences: jumping rope, listening to intuition, feeling different, dreaming beneath the moon, or learning how to love oneself in a world that often misunderstands softness and imagination. These stories are not only meant to entertain, but to nurture emotional intelligence, creativity, self-awareness, and the quiet wisdom already alive within every child. Blending mythic imagery, minimalist symbolism, and heartfelt narratives, the Inner Child Series honors the child as more than a stage of life—it recognizes the child as a sacred part of the soul that continues to guide us toward joy, authenticity, curiosity, and healing. Each book becomes both a mirror and a doorway: helping young readers feel seen, while inviting older readers to reconnect with the forgotten wonder still living inside them. Published by Corvus Cantus, this series stands as an offering to families, dreamers, educators, healers, and seekers who believe stories can awaken the heart, restore imagination, and remind us that becoming is a lifelong journey.

Faith is Like Jumping Rope

Faith isn’t about always being sure—it’s about listening, feeling, and trusting. Like jumping Double Dutch, life asks us to know the rhythm, to feel the timing, and to leap into something greater than ourselves.

Love is Like Walking in The Dark

Love is not always seen—it’s often felt, like walking in the dark. Through a child's experience of walking through a forest at night with someone or something they trust, the story becomes a Theopoetic metaphor for becoming brave, trusting love, and navigating the unknown with a sacred presence bigger than ourselves.

The Blind People

The Blind People is a story about what happens when a community learns to look inward for the very first time. Though the people in this story cannot truly see themselves, their blindness is not about their eyes. It is about the hidden feelings, fears, and wounds they have never understood. Like many of us, they learned how to blame, avoid, and hide before they ever learned how to heal.
